VOID™ VOYAGE created a destination marketing campaign for JW Marriott Hotels, Sheraton Hotels and Marriott International in Hanoi.

Hanoi is the cultural center in the north of Vietnam. The French influence can still be felt and gives the city a very special charm. Gustav Eiffel, the architect of the Eiffel Tower, also built one of the many bridges in the City of Lakes. Whether a walk through the old quarters, a visit to the beautiful temples or a day trip to Sa pa enchants every visitor. Hanoi also has a very modern side, top international-level restaurants, and a vibrant cultural scene. So grab a cup of Vietnamese coffee and then it’s “Bonjour Hanoi”.

The overall concept is modern travel storytelling. It’s not about showing as many tourist highlights as possible. It’s about authentically capturing the DNA of Hanoi to warm the hearts of viewers to this destination. Videos for digital channels that make people want to travel. Since this Marriott Bonvoy destination marketing campaign is meant to work worldwide, the challenge is to do it completely without language and still tell a strong visual story.

Natural beauty and cultural complexity, tradition and modernity, that’s what we wanted to depict. Hectic old quarters, millions of motorcycles on the other side, picturesque temples and lakes. Our video aims to capture the fascination of Hanoi in a modern story and convey the unique flair of this special blend of French influences and Vietnamese tradition.
